Once upon a slime, there was a girl who wanted to start a slime business!
Earlier this year, Make-A-Wish reached out to us to help fulfill the wish of 12-year-old Zuri: to build her own slime business!
Our friends from Make-A-Wish organized a preliminary call with our team (including CEO + founder Jungmin Kang) and Zuri's family. Jungmin and the creative director, Lacey, worked with Zuri to help build her vision for her business as a young slime entrepreneur.
Once we outlined Zuri's business on paper, Make-A-Wish flew Zuri, her mom, and brothers from her home in New Jersey all the way to Snoop HQ in Austin, Texas! During her visit, Jungmin and our team gave her an insider look into the inner workings of Snoopslimes, from making the slime to creating slime content!
Zuri met with our videographers, Alex and Nastassja, who work with Jungmin to make content for Snoopslimes every day. They showed Zuri behind-the-scenes of our video & photo shoots and Zuri got to play with slime with Jungmin in front of the camera - watch the behind the scenes of Zuri at Snoopslimes in our latest YouTube video.
In the slime kitchen, Jungmin and Zuri worked together to make a custom slime for her as well as some of the new slimes for our exclusive Wish Upon A Slime collection. We designed two in collaboration with Make-A-Wish: Twinkle Lollipop and Lucky Star Wish Fluff.
